New Retreats Combine Yoga and Art at Lillstreet

New daylong classes at the Lillstreet Art Center aim to hone creativity through meditation and art.

A new offering from Lillstreet Art Center hopes to relax participants and reconnect them with their creativity.

The daylong retreats—debuting in April—will combine yoga, meditation and art instruction, according to the art center. It also includes lunch and three hours of personal instruction.

The first retreat will focus on the Art of Asian ink Painting and use a technique to paint silk scarves. Another retreat later in April will teach the creative process without worrying about the end results.
