North Community Bank Robber Still at Large
Police are now offering a reward for the suspect, who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The FBI is now offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man who robbed the North Community Bank Friday morning.
The suspect is described as a white man about 30 years old, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches and weighing 230 pounds, according to the FBI. His face was partially covered by a white construction mask and he was wearing a light-colored fleece jacket with dark patterns on the sleeves, dark pants and a white knit cap over a dark hat. Police said he was also carrying a green stuffed toy and a bucket.
The FBI responded to the robbery around 11 a.m. Friday at 4701 N. Clark Street. Investigators said the robber approached a bank employee, demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The robber didn't display a weapon and no injuries were reported.
