Rolls 'N Bowls Now Serving Sushi on Lincoln Avenue (PHOTOS)
Take a peak inside the newly-opened Rolls 'N Bowls at Lincoln and Eastwood avenues.
Rolls 'N Bowls is officially open after almost six months of teasing residents with a "Coming Soon" sign.
The Japanese dine-in, carry out and delivery restaurant opened a second location Tuesday at 4635 North Lincoln Avenue. The original location, at 5501 North Lincoln, is just north of Lincoln Square near West Bryn Mawr Avenue.
Unlike the northern location, the new Rolls 'N Bowls will be more of an express restaurant. It's not BYOB, and pushes more of a carry-out, quick bites theme, owner Phil Yoon said. The food will stay the same, with an array of sushi, noodles and entrée bowls on their menu.

Also contrary to the original location, the express restaurant will be open for lunch as well as dinner, closing for a short time in the afternoon. Hours are 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 12 a.m.
Yoon chose the 38-seat location because of its proximity to summer festivals and the Western Brown Line Station.

"At first we wanted to go further south, but there was so much competition, we decided to stay where the people were," he said.
Yoon owns the pair of restaurants with his parents, sister and brother-in-law. Eventually, the family hopes to double the size of the original location to create more of a Japanese dining experience.
