New Japanese Restaurant Coming to Lincoln Square

The 'Coming Soon' sign outside the Rolls 'N Bowls storefront is no longer a mystery.

Lincoln Square is getting a new sushi restaurant, and the opening date is less than a month away.

Rolls ‘N Bowls, a Japanese dine-in, carry out and delivery restaurant, is adding a second location at 4635 N. Lincoln Ave.

The sushi place has been teasing residents with a "Coming Soon" sign in front of its new space since the fall, but now, the mystery is over.

Owner Phil Yoon said the new Rolls 'N Bowls will open sometime in early March.

He hopes the restaurant will receive plumbing and HCAV permitting this week, after passing general and electrical inspections on Tuesday.

"Once they come out, I think it should be another week or 7-10 days for us to open," Yoon said.

The original location, at 5501 N. Lincoln Ave., is just north of Lincoln Square near West Bryn Mawr Avenue. The restaurant includes sushi, noodles and entrée bowls on their menu
