The Square Roots festival is presented by the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and Old Town School of Folk Music and is produced by Big Buzz Idea Group. The festival will take place July 12-14, 2013 between 4400 and 4560 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.
Square Roots drew more than 25,000 Chicagoans in its inaugural year last year. Thousands more are expected to attend this year.
More than 35 acts will perform across four different stages, both indoors and outdoors. Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars, Sallie Ford and The Sound Outside, Fatoumata Diawara, Savoy Family Cajun Band, and Glenn Jones, are among the artists that will be featured.
