The Great Shave Combines Food, Drink and... Shaving?

Curious about the lost art of wet shaving? Even if you’re not, Lincoln Square residents can still check out The Great Shave. It’s a festival with hair removal.

The second annual Great Shave event is Wednesday from 6 to 9:15 p.m. at Dank Haus, 4740 North Western Avenue.

Beginners through experts are welcome and women are invited too.

Merz Apothecary and their online shop, Smallflower, are hosting the event that includes shaving demonstrations, local beer, food, live music, and of course, shaving accessories for sale.

General admission tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

- Lynn Abrams - founder of The Straight Razor Place forum and co-owner of Straight Razor Designs
