Time Out Sports Bar Takes Hiatus of Its Own
Residents thought it was game over for Time Out Sports Bar near Rockwell, but the neighborhood staple is just going through some renovations.
With snow on the ground, a local sports bar is getting ahead on spring-cleaning.
Time Out Sports Bar, at 4641 N. Rockwell St., closed earlier in 2012, but just for some remodeling.
“The neighbors have all been wondering what’s going on,” owner Jenessa Azimi said. “It’ll be a brand new bar, but with the same feel.”

Adam Olsen and Azimi have owned the bar for nearly 20 years, and said it was time to freshen up. They closed in February, but a firm reopening date hasn’t been set.
“It’s definitely going to be in March,” Azimi said, adding that she was aiming for before St. Patrick’s Day.

The bar still has a wood look, but Azimi describes it as a classier finish. The owners kept mum on other changes, but said people would be surprised when they came in.
