Minor Injuries In 3-Car Crash At Cedar And Smith Roads: Manhattan PD

The crash happened Monday evening, said Manhattan Police Chief Jeff Wold.

MANHATTAN, IL — A three-car crash at Smith and Cedar roads Monday evening resulted in minor injuries, said Manhattan Police Chief Jeff Wold.

A black Dodge van driven by a 36-year-old Manhattan woman and with a 10-year-old passenger was eastbound on Smith Road when it collided with a white Lexus northbound on Cedar Road with two occupants, Manhattan women ages 63 and 19. A third car, a white Hyundai driven by a 56-year-old Manhattan woman, was also involved in the crash.

The intersection was closed for just over an hour as police investigated.
