10 Injured In Crash With Small Bus, FedEx Truck: Manhattan Fire
The crash happened late Thursday afternoon at Manhattan and Ridge roads, Manhattan Fire officials said.
MANHATTAN, IL — Several were injured late Thursday afternoon in a crash involving a small bus and a FedEx truck at Manhattan and Ridge roads, Manhattan Fire Protection District officials said.
The crash happened just before 3:30 p.m., at West Manhattan and South Ridge roads. Manhattan Road was reported closed near Charlamar Acres to IL 53 as Will County Sheriff's officers were at the scene with responding ambulances. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
Initial reports say 10 were injured in the crash, most with minor injuries and one seriously injured, said Manhattan Fire Chief Steve Malone.
