Body Shop, 3 Cars Damaged in Manhattan Man’s ‘Fire or Explosive’ Rampage: Complaint
The Manhattan man was freed on $30,000 bond.

MANHATTAN, IL — A Manhattan man jailed last week used “fire or explosive” to damage a body shop and three vehicles, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.
The Manhattan police would not say what 48-year-old Brent Delaney supposedly did to get charged with four felony counts of criminal damage/fire/explosives on Wednesday.
“It’s still an active investigation,” said Manhattan police Detective Mike Holford, explaining that the department is keeping the circumstances of Delaney’s case “confidential.”

Holford did say that the allegations involve “several vehicles and buildings.”
The building was Ray’s Collision on Railroad Street, according to the complaint, which was first made available on Monday. Delaney also damaged a 2016 Chevy Colorado pickup, a Pontiac Vibe and a Chevy Trailblazer, the complaint said.
