Cop On A Rooftop Fundraiser Friday At Manhattan Dunkin

MANHATTAN, IL — Manhattan police on Friday will participate in the annual Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser, to be held at Manhattan's Dunkin location.

Police on May 19 from 5 a.m. to noon will volunteer at Dunkin, 535 W. North St., to collect funds in support of the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

Department hats and shirts will be for sale, $15 for the former, and $20 for the latter. Harley Motorcycle and Coleman Camper raffle tickets will also be sold for $10 each.

Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois have partnered for more than 20 years for this cause. More than $7.6 million has been raised in Illinois, according to the Special Olympics website.
