Lottery Scratch-off Kiosk Stolen From Peotone Travel Center: Police
The theft happened Saturday, Jan. 4 just before 4:30 a.m., police said.
PEOTONE, IL — Peotone police are investigating after four suspects stole a lottery scratch-off kiosk from a gas station over the weekend.
Police were called just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, for a report of theft at the Peotone Travel Center, 601 S 88th Ave., police said.
Four suspects entered the fuel station and one, wearing a mask and gloves, removed a lottery scratch-off display full of tickets and exited the building. The four fled the area in a silver or gray Lincoln SUV. No one was injured during the theft, police said.

The Illinois Lottery Commission has been contacted, police said, and officers are actively following up on leads that have developed.
