Mokena Man Missing, Endangered After Fleeing Crash: Manhattan PD
A man is missing after fleeing the scene of a crash on Rte 52 in the early morning hours Wednesday. He could be in mental health crisis.

MANHATTAN, IL — A Mokena family is asking for the public's help in locating a man who fled on foot from a single-vehicle crash in Manhattan early Wednesday. His mother fears he could be a danger to himself.
Witnesses reported last seeing Robert Hollingsworth, 28, at 2 a.m. Wednesday, near the scene of the crash on Rte. 52 and North Street in Manhattan. Hollingsworth might have been injured in the crash, police said. The car involved left the roadway, striking a tree and a building, according to Interim Chief of Police Brian Zarnowski.
The man's family is concerned for Hollingsworth's mental health, saying he could be having suicidal ideations, mother Katie Hollingsworth told Patch.

Robert Hollingsworth had been at a friend's house in Bourbonnais earlier in the evening, when his mother believes he suffered a manic episode indicative of BiPolar II Disorder, Hollingsworth said.
Hollingsworth last heard from her son around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, when he sent her a text message indicating he intended to harm himself, she said. His phone and wallet were left in the car, she said. Hollingsworth said he could have headed to Joliet, but she is not certain.

"This is the first time when I’ve really feared for his safety," Hollingsworth told Patch.
Robert is 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs 220 pounds. Both ears are pierced. He has several tattoos, his mother said, including a semi-colon butterfly with the saying, "Nothing Is Forever" on his right arm. He also has one of the character Cartman from South Park on his calf. He was wearing gray sweatpants when last seen.
Anyone with information on Hollingsworth's location should contact Manhattan police at (815)418-2122, or Mokena Police at (708)479-3912.
Manhattan police said the crash is still under investigation.
