New Lenox Woman Pulled Hair, Shoved Woman Outside Manhattan Bar: PD

The incident happened outside Fritz's Saloon Saturday, Sept. 21.

MANHATTAN, IL — A New Lenox woman was charged with aggravated battery Saturday after police say she assaulted another woman outside a Manhattan bar, according to police reports.

Police were called for a report of a battery outside Fritz's Saloon, 225 S. State St. Police learned that a female victim was "thrown to the ground by an unknown female who grabbed the back of her hair," according to police reports.

The attacker then fled prior to police arrival, according to reports. Police later identified her as Anna Morowczynski, 44, of New Lenox.

Morowczynski later surrendered to police and was charged with aggravated battery on a public way.
