Peotone Liquor & Tobacco Store Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
The robbery happened Monday night just before 9 p.m., police said.
PEOTONE, IL — Peotone police are investigating Tuesday, after two men robbed a liquor store at gunpoint Monday night.
Police said Tuesday that two men entered Peotone Tobacco and Liquor, 422 S. Governor’s Hwy, and held the employees at gunpoint just before 9 p.m. Monday. The suspects took cigarettes and cash before fleeing from the store on foot, police said.
No one was injured in the incident.
