The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

MANHATTAN, IL — A car was struck by a Metra train in Manhattan Tuesday night. The car was hit at a crossing on Cedar Road south of Delaney Road around 7 p.m, Manhattan Fire Protection District Chief Steve Malone said. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Five passengers on the train refused treatment at the scene, Malone said. Will County Sheriff's deputies were also on the scene. This story is developing.
