Berkot's, Brookhaven Marketplace: Thanksgiving Store Hours In Mokena

MOKENA, IL — Some grocery stores and pharmacies in Mokena will open on Thanksgiving, including Berkot’s Super Foods, Brookhaven Market, Jewel, and Meijer.

Many others will close, however, including Walmart and Target, both of which readjusted their holiday hours in 2021 to give employees a day off to spend with their families.

As always, if you need another pound of butter or an onion to finish cooking your Thanksgiving meal, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure they’re open.

.Aldi: All stores are closed.

Berkot’s Super Foods: Located at 20005 Wolf Rd., will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brookhaven Marketplace, located at 19818 S. LaGrange Rd. in Mokena Town Square Plaza, will be open from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Costco: All stores are closed.

CVS: About 80 percent of stores will be closed.

Food4Less: Many locations are open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Jewel-Osco: Stores, including the one at 17930 Wolf Rd. in Orland Park, is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mariano’s: Stores, including the one at 21001 S. LaGrange Rd. in Frankfort, are open at normal times and will close at 5 p.m. The store’s pharmacy will be closed.

Meijer: Stores, including the location at 11305 Lincoln Highway, will open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sam’s Club: All stores are closed.

Target: All stores are closed.

The Fresh Market: Stores will open, but hours vary by location.

Trader Joe’s: All stores are closed.

Walgreens: Most stores, including the one at 20002 Wolf Rd., will be closed after the company announced that most locations will be closed for Thanksgiving for the first time in the company's history.

Walmart: All stores are closed.

Whole Foods: Hours vary by store, including the one at 15260 S. LaGrange Rd. in Orland Park.
