Election 2012: Was Mokena an Obama or Romney Town?
The president captured his home state in the Nov. 6 election, but how did he fare in Mokena?

If Mokena residents had their way, Nov. 6 would have been all about the newly-elected President Mitt Romney.
However, President Barack Obama got the nod nationwide.
The total number of votes cast in all 13 Frankfort Township precincts along with the two New Lenox Townships precincts came out in favor of Mitt Romney, who garnered 6,184 ballots compared to 4,284 for Obama, according to data released by the Will County Clerk's Office.
