MOKENA, IL — State Rep. Patrick Sheehan is partnering with Will County Board Member Jim Richmond and Mokena Mayor George Metanias to host a free Community Shred Event on Saturday, June 21, offering residents a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents.

“This is a simple way to help residents protect themselves from identity theft while also clearing out old paperwork,” said Rep. Sheehan. “I’m grateful to team up with Jim Richmond and Mayor Metanias to provide this important service to our community.”

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Mokena Front Street Metra Parking Lot (on the south side of the tracks). Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as shredding will be available until the truck is full.
