Joliet Man Charged with Pot Possession in Alleged 'Hand-to-Hand' Deal
Kevin M. Greaney, 24, faces one count of marijuana possession stemming from a June 1 incident, according to a Mokena police report.

An officer conducting a routine check on a Mokena business spotted what he believed to a be a “hand-to-hand” drug deal.
Kevin M. Greaney, 24, of the 900 block of Oakland Avenue, Joliet, was charged with possesion of less than 30 grams of marijuana, according to a report.
An officer spotted the alleged transaction taking place in a car at about 9:50 p.m. on June 1 in the 19800 block of South LaGrange Road while on a business check, according to the report.
Officers reported smelling an odor of marijuana coming from the car and conducted a search, according to a report. They allegedly found 25.3 grams of what tested positive as marijuana.
Greaney was taken into custody, charged and released after posting bond, according to the report. He is due on July 10 in Will County court.
