You're Late! But the Library Forgives You
The Mokena Community Public Library is waiving all late fees for residents during the month of July. Residents with overdue items are encouraged to take advantage of the program while it lasts.
The is changing its checkout and return book system during the month of July, which means patrons are in luck.
Those who check out a book and may have forgotten to return it will save a bit of cash; the library is waiving all late fees on books, and any other library materials.
Members of the library staff said the fee waiver will last until July 31st and that residents who return books late are encouraged to return any overdue items.
