Mokena-Area Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

MOKENA, IL — Spending hours preparing and cleaning up after a big dinner isn’t for everyone. For those who want to skip the fuss, several restaurants open Thanksgiving Day in the Mokena area will cook turkey dinner — or something else entirely.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.

• Francesca's Fortunato, 40 Kansas St., Frankfort (Catering deals run between $89.95 and $169.95, and $25 prepaid table reservations are available for a Thanksgiving buffet with prices set at $49.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 12 and under). The buffet is available from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Francesca's Vicianato, 12960 S. LaGrange Rd., Palos Park (Catering deals run between $89.95 and $169.95. There are $25 prepaid table reservations available for a Thanksgiving buffet with prices set at $49.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 12 and under). The buffet is available from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• JBD White Horse Inn, 348 W. Maple St. New Lenox. 9 a.m.- 1 a.m. (bar only)
• Coopers Hawk Winery and Restaurant, 2307 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox (Dining package available for $199 for a feast that serves up to six people), 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thanksgiving dinner will also be served in-house with prices set at $34.99 for adults and $14.99 for children 12 and under.
