Mokena Police Participate In Cop On A Rooftop May 17
Mokena police will participate in the May 17 fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois.

MOKENA, IL — Mokena police on Friday, May 17 will participate in the annual Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser, to be held at a Mokena Dunkin location.
Police on May 17 from 5 a.m. to noon will volunteer at Dunkin inside the Gas N' Wash, 8810 W. 191st St to collect funds in support of the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. Those who donate will receive a coupon for a free donut or hot coffee.
Donations can also be made online. Online donations will not be redeemable for an in-person coupon. To qualify for a free donut or hot coffee coupon, donations must be made at a participating location.

Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois have partnered for 21 years for this cause. More than $8.7 million has been raised in Illinois, according to the Special Olympics website.
