Megan was one of my middle school students in Homewood SD 153, a babysitter for my children, and instructed my daughter in Irish Step Dancing.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Megan is a kind, hardworking teacher who has been teaching at Mokena Intermediate for 23 years! She goes beyond the ordinary to provide excellent instruction in the classroom.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

If your child is lucky enough to be in Ms. Horsch’s classroom, he/she will share many stories about what they’re learning in the classroom. Don’t be surprised if she shows up in costume on special days! Also, Megan is one of the moderators of the popular Gurls on the Run after school program and Rocket Runners.
