Mokena Trustee Germany 'Gives Love, Time, Devotion' To Community

MOKENA, IL — Without community leaders, Mokena wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

So many reasons. Terry is an overall just great human. He does more for our community than I believe people realize, but besides that, he is a loyal friend and he gives not only his money but also his love, devotion, and time to our community. Not only does he serve on the Mokena village board, but he gives his time continuously to his church and also donates time to many non-profit organizations. He is a true supporter of local businesses including the Manhattan Weather Channel, Navarro Farms, CD&Me, Bothwell Farms, Simply Slices, and ZAP Taco.

All will say the most wonderful things about my friend. Not to mention, he grows out the best beard every year to be the best Santa ever for all children. Helping people makes this man happy. He deserves to be recognized, even if just by me. My father John Mazzorana loved him and I am my father's daughter. I understand. Good people. Love you, Terry, thank you so much for all that you do. You love your family, your Lord and Savior and you LOVE MOKENA.
