Mokena's Curtain Call Theatre’s ‘Boeing Boeing’ Is Ready for Takeoff

MOKENA, IL — This June, prepare for some serious turbulence as Curtain Call Theatre proudly presents ‘Boeing Boeing’, the high-flying, door-slamming farce that will have audiences laughing from takeoff to landing.

Set in the 1960s, ‘Boeing Boeing’ follows the misadventures of Bernard, a bachelor who thinks he’s got life perfectly scheduled — three glamorous airline stewardess fiancées, none the wiser. With careful timetables and a lot of fast talking, Bernard’s love life is smooth sailing... until a faster Boeing jet and a surprise visit from his wide-eyed friend Robert send his plans into a nosedive.

With all three stewardesses suddenly in town at the same time, Bernard’s flat becomes ground zero for comic chaos. Will he pull off the ultimate juggling act, or will his sky-high schemes crash and burn? There’s only one way to find out.

Directed by Jaimey Kennedy, ‘Boeing Boeing’ is the ultimate recipe for summer fun: a little romance, a lot of door slamming, and more laughs per minute than an in-flight safety demonstration gone wrong.

Performance Dates: The first weekend, June 6-8, is sold out. The second weekend will be June 13-15, 2025. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday performances will be at 2 pm.

The cast includes local talent like Ken Czechanski, Dean Papadopoulos, Alicia Cuccia, Megan Carr, Cassandra Bausch, and Grace Pieczynski. Performances will be held at Curtain Call’s Front Street Theatre: 11112 Front Street, Mokena.
