Mokena's Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 3

Food Truck Fest, Free kids activities, The Encore Concert Band, Magic & Art show, Chicago's Premier Party Band 28 Days, and Fireworks.

Mokena Park District and the Village of Mokena presents the Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 3 at Main Park, 10925 La Porte Road, Mokena. Parking and Entertainment are FREE.

The festivities will begin with FREE kids games and inflatables from 4-6:30pm.

The Food Truck Fest from 4:30-10:30pm with a delicious variety of vendors: Hawaiian Food Truck Chicago, Smokin’ Z BBQ, TCBY, Joeys Red Hots, Avocado Theory, Ricobenes on 26th Street, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Waffle Hero, Kona Ice of Tinley Park, Martino’s Mobile Pizza, ParTea Boba and Catering, Cousins Maine Lobster.

The Encore Concert Band will perform from 5-6:30pm. Then family performer Dan Gogh’s Magic & Art show will be at the stage from 6:30-7:30pm to entertain and amaze kids and adults.

Chicago’s Premier Party Band, 28 Days will perform From 7:30-9:30pm. They aren’t just a band, it’s an experience. Performing over 2,700 shows since 2006, their goal has always been to change the cover band culture to something exciting and different that provides audiences with the very best live entertainment experience.

Fireworks will start at 9:30pm. After the fireworks 28 Days will perform again until 10:30pm.
