Mokena CPR Class Scheduled for Aug. 9

MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Fire Protection District is offering its monthly CPR class for the public from 6-9:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at Mokena Fire Station #1, 19853 S. Wolf Road.

The cost is $40 for community CPR, and $50 for healthcare CPR. Certification will be from the American Safety and Health Institute. Fee covers books, materials and instructor fees. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Students are instructed in adult, child, and infant CPR and AED. A CPR card is issued to all those who successfully complete the course. The card is valid for two years.
