NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week

MOKENA, IL — Meet Mandy. She is a 2-year-old female beagle mix who came to NAWS from a kill shelter in Kentucky, where she was at risk of euthanasia.

She is sweet and a little shy; once she gets to know someone, she warms up and is very outgoing and friendly. She loves to go on walks and get pets. She is not always fond of other dogs and would do best as the only dog in a home.

Mandy is heartworm positive. She is looking for a compassionate and dedicated adopter who will stay by her side while she completes her treatments and gets back to good health.
