MOKENA, IL — Meet Charles, a 5-year-old male grey tabby who was relinquished to NAWS by his previous owner when they had a family member move in that is allergic to cats.
Charles is a soft, regal and engaging boy. He likes attention and enjoys pets and scratches. He is a chatty boy that will meow for attention. He keeps his kitty tower very clean. He is an easy-going and chill boy that enjoys watching all the activity around him.
Charles is very possessive of his kitty bed – he meows at volunteers when they move it to clean and he pouts a bit after. He never bites or swats, but lets everyone know that is his bed and he loves it.

Charles is FIV positive. He would need to be the only cat in a home, live with other FIV positive kitties, or possibly live with other non-aggressive cats. He lived with other cats in his previous home and was relinquished with one. She tended to bully him a bit when stressed, but Charles never retaliated in any way.
Charles is a sweet and lovable boy that just wants to feel loved again and be showered with attention.
