MOKENA, IL — Meet Ruby, a 2-year-old long-haired female who was rescued from an animal control in southern Illinois where she was at risk of euthanasia.
Ruby is very sweet, gentle, outgoing and affectionate, and she is ready to share her love. She loves to greet visitors and likes pets and attention.
Ruby has suffered from a chronic leaky eye since arriving at NAWS, and a busy rescue setting is not an ideal place for her because stress can worsen her symptoms. She needs a loving, stress-free home and a comfortable routine, which is hoped will help her issues to dissipate.
