No One Injured In Mokena House Fire After Residents, Pet Escape: FD
The single-family residence on Marshall Court was reported Wednesday night and officials said flames could be seen from blocks away.

MOKENA, IL — No one was injured after multiple departments were called to a house fire on Wednesday night in which flames could be seen from several blocks away, local fire officials said.
The fire was reported just after 10 p.m. on Marshall Court in Mokena, where officials said that the occupants of the home and their pet were able to get out of the house safely before firefighters arrived.
Additional fire departments, including from New Lenox, were called to battle the fire, which was under control within 30 minutes after firefighters arrived, officials said.

The fire remains under investigation by local fire officials who did not specify how much damage the fire to the single-family home caused.
