Nominating Petitions For Mokena Trustees Available Starting Tuesday
There will be three Mokena Village Board of Trustees seats up for grabs in the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election.

MOKENA, IL — The Village of Mokena will begin handing out nominating petitions Tuesday for those interested in running for public office in the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election, according to a news release from the Village.
Mokena Village Clerk Melissa Martini's office, which is in charge of the nominating petitions, said those petitions will be available between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. starting Tuesday at the Mokena Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St.
Petitions must be filled out and dropped off at Village Hall by 5 p.m. Dec. 19.

There are three Mokena Village Board of Trustees seats up for grabs in next year's election. Trustees are elected for a four-year term.
Current Trustees Joseph Budzyn, Debbie Engler and Jim Richmond were each elected in 2019, and their terms expire next year. They were the only three people to run for the seats in 2019, according to records from the Will County Clerk's Office.
