MOKENA, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County announced Monday that the bridge over Hickory Creek in Mokena is closed because of heavy rainfall, according to Forest Preserve District of Will County spokesperson Cindy Cain.

The bridge over Hickory Creek is located near the Hickory Creek Preserve - LaPorte Road access, just east of Wolf Road in Mokena.

The bridge is currently under water, Cain said. Caution tape has been placed on both sides of the bridge so path users know it is closed, she said.
