Scattered Outages Remain after Storms Blast the Region
Pockets of Mokena remain without power.

Throughout the Chicago region 70,000 customers remain without power after storms blasted through are between 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wind gusts up to 70 mph knocked out more than 300,000 throughout the Chicago metropolitan region. The south region got hit the hardest. More than 49,000 are still without power.
In Mokena, the ComEd outage map shows numerous outages affecting between 5 and 50 customers. ComEd reports more than 475 customers in the Riivendell subdivision near Lincoln-Way Central High School are without power.
Ashley Dennison, ComEd spokesperson said, the company has no specific restoration schedule. "We're working as fast as we can," she said. The ComEd outage map, however, notes that power should back on by 11 p.m. Thursday for some pockets of the community.

- E. Francis Road west of Townline Road
- E. Francis Road off of S. Brightway and Kluth Court
- 114th Ave north of Francis road
- 197th Street at 115th Avenue
- Wolf Road near S. Woodland Circle
Outages east of Wolf Road:
- LaPorte Road at Anna Street
- Hickory Creek Forest Preserve
- Around 191st Street and Midland between Darla Trail and Revere Road
- Around 104th Avenue, Camden Court and London Lane
Outages east of LaGrange Road:
Pine Avenue, Magnolia Street and Catulpa Street in the Arbury Hills subdivision.
