Shots Fired By 'Highly Intoxicated, Belligerent' Mokena Man: Cops
He shot three times but didn't hit anyone, police said.

Jeffrey Zamecnik, 47, was arrested and jailed in connection with the 1 a.m. incident outside his Josephine Drive home.
Will County deputies sent to Josephine Drive to investigate a report of shots fired found Zamecnik and another man “yelling at each other about (Zamecnik) shooting at him,” police said.
“While deputies were on (the) scene they also spoke with a male relative of (Zamecnik’s) who stated that (Zamecnik’s) wife had called him to the residence because (he) was highly intoxicated, belligerent, and had a rifle outside,” police said. “The relative came to the house and attempted to speak to (Zamecnik) at which time he threatened to shoot the relative and the other male.”
The two men fled as Zamecnik allegedly attempted to make good on his threat, firing three times at them. He missed, police said.
