Street of Dreams Theatre Opens the Gates to Arendelle with Auditions for Frozen the Broadway Musical

Local youth invited to bring Arendelle to life in upcoming Frozen auditions

(Performance rights fully licensed through MTI.)

This winter, the magic of Arendelle is coming to the south suburbs as Street of Dreams Theatre prepares to present Frozen the Broadway Musical. Performers ages 11 through 18 are invited to step into the enchanted world of Anna, Elsa, and their unforgettable friends during auditions on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, December 14.

The production team promises a warm welcome, even if the story itself brings a touch of winter. “This show is filled with heart, humor, and incredible music,” the creative staff shared. “We’re looking for talented performers ready to help bring this icy adventure to life.”

Rehearsals are scheduled for Fridays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., with the first rehearsal and full cast read through taking place on Thursday, December 19. After a season of building snowmen, braving blizzards, and discovering true love’s power, the cast will take the stage at Lincoln-Way East on March 21, 2026. Tech week begins Sunday, March 15, transforming the stage into a snowy Scandinavian kingdom.
