Touch-a-Truck, Food, Raffles, Music At Mokena PD's National Night Out

MOKENA, IL — Mokena police will host the community for its local National Night Out event set for Tuesday, August. 5.

The night of "fun, community, and connection" is part of a nationwide effort that “promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer,” according to the National Association of Town Watch, the organization that founded the annual early August event in 1984.

Mokena's event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., at Yunker Park, 10824 La Porte Rd.
