Village Of Mokena, Police Hiring Crossing Guards

MOKENA, IL — The Village of Mokena is accepting applications for the position of seasonal part-time crossing guard in the police department. Duties include activating the school zone speed limit sign, and crossing children at the Wolf Road & 195th Street School Crossing. Must be able to work on all school days for Mokena School District 159 and St. Mary’s school in the morning and afternoon in all weather conditions.

Applicants must be 18 years or older with a high school Diploma or equivalent, and a valid Illinois Driver’s License is preferred. Starting salary is $24.13/hr.

Applications can be picked up at the Mokena Police Department. Completed applications must be returned to the Mokena Police Department on or before Nov. 10 to the attention of: Chief of Police, Mokena Police Department, 10300 W. 191st St. EEOC/ADA
