3. Frankfort Township Senior's Day-Trip to Milwaukee is on Wednesday. It includes a tour of the Pabst Mansion. Take the opportunity to see where the likes of LaVerne and Shirley, the popular TV sitcom in the late 1970s, worked. And if that's not enough, the seniors should have fun at planned a stop at the Mars Cheese Castle.

4. Movie in the Park is Friday. The featured film is "Wall.E," a new computer animated film. It's a comic science fiction story by Disney Pixar. In it, a robot named Wall.E, whose job it is to pick up the junk Earthlings have left behind, meets and falls in love with Eve. A bit of satire here—computers and contemporary romance. It's bound to tickle the kiddies.
5. Arianna's Wings Benefit begins at 6 p.m. Friday at Chicago Gaelic Park, 6119 147th St., Oak Forest. The benefit is for Mokena's 23-month-old Alex Firlit. Already she has undergone seven surgeries and affectionately is called the $5 million baby by her own mother after being born premature.
