MONTGOMERY, IL — Montgomery police said two people suffered life-threatening injuries in an early morning shooting in the 2100 block of Jericho Road. Officers responded to a report of two people shot just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police made contact with the two victims, who were in a vehicle near Jericho and Orchard roads. Police stopped the vehicle and administered emergency care until they were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Police said the two victims suffered life-threatening injuries.

Kane County Major Crimes is assisting with the investigation.
Police said they believe the shooting is a gang-related isolated incident.
