Fire At Apartment Building Near Montgomery

One firefighter was injured

Just after 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the Oswego Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire on the 100 block of harbor drive, according to a district press release.

Crews found an apartment building with a fire in the attic. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in within 15 minutes. The four-unit building was deemed uninhabitable. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but said it does not appear to be suspicious.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.
