MONTGOMERY, IL — A fundraiser has been created "in bright memory" of a Montgomery man who died in a motorcycle crash Tuesday.
Stanislav Chubchev, 33, was driving a motorcycle west on Countryside Avenue just before 2 p.m. Tuesday when he attempted to turn south onto Orchard Road and hit a car in the intersection, Patch reported.
He was taken to an Aurora hospital where he succumbed to his injuries soon after, Montgomery police said.

Through the fundraiser, the family hopes to raise money for Chubchev's funeral and hospital expenses in order to "get back on their feet and get on with their lives."
In the one day since it was established, 21 people donated nearly $4,000 to the cause.
"He was a very generous and kind person, but life had other plans for him," the campaign reads. "It so happened that he left behind two small children, Alexander and Timothy, his loving wife Tetiana."
The crash remains under investigation. The driver in the car that was hit is "cooperating fully," Patch reported.
