Habitat For Humanity Offers Orientation For Potential Home Owners
The virtual meetings are a required first step for Kane County residents interested in partnering with Habitat to build a new home.
MONTGOMERY, IL – Local residents who are interested in becoming future homeowners through the Fox Valley Habitat For Humanity initiative are invited to participate in an upcoming virtual meeting which is the first step in being considered for a new home.
The orientation meetings are being offered on Zoom and will be required for local residents interested in the Habitat For Humanity program. The meetings will be held in English on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28 and at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, organizers said.
Requirements and qualifications for being accepted as a partner family will be explained and application forms will be available upon request, organizer said.

To be considered for Habitat homeownership, individuals or families must meet four criteria: a need for adequate housing, ability to pay a mortgage, residence within Kane County and the willingness to partner with Fox Valley Habitat in construction of their home.
