'He Is So Good With Us Seniors': Montgomery Community Leader

MONTGOMERY, IL — Without community leaders, Montgomery wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

How do you know this community leader?

His involvement in senior activities

What does this community leader do?

He takes reservations for senior dinners, collects the money and sets up our meals and serves us. Dan also calls bingo. He also comes to our Dime Jingle Game another day and makes coffee for all of us.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

He is so good with us seniors and runs an excellent program well. We all appreciate him and The Village of Montgomery.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

We really appreciate how he goes beyond what he has to do to make all of us seniors happy. He and his wife are so kind and caring to seniors.
