MONTGOMERY, IL — A "large amount of digital evidence" ties a Montgomery man to child pornography, for which he's facing several felony charges, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office alleged Friday.

Michael Zomparelli, 43, was charged with seven counts of child pornography. Three of the charges are Class X felonies — the most severe tier — for reproduction of child pornography, while the other four are Class 2 felonies for possession of child pornography.

Detectives from the sheriff's office executed a search warrant Wednesday at Zomparelli's residence in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road. Evidence recovered was analyzed by the Illinois Attorney General's Office's High Tech Crimes Bureau.
