Montgomery Man Charged in Mill Street Stabbing

Dereck Thompson, 44, of the 0 to 99 block of East Mill Street Montgomery, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon at about 3:40 p.m. Aug. 3 at his home, after he stabbed a 43- year-old Aurora resident with a knife, according to Montgomery Police.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from Rush-Copley Medical Center, police said.
