Aurora Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Semi: Kendall County Coroner

The motorcyclist was killed after he crashed into a semi in unincorporated Kendall Township, officials said.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — A motorcyclist was killed after crashing with a semi-truck Saturday night in unincorporated Kendall Township, the Kendall County Coroner's Office said Monday.

The driver was identified as Trent Pahnke, of the 1000 block of Monomoy Street in Aurora. He was 31.

The crash occurred around 8 p.m. on Route 47 between Ament Road and Walker Road, just south of Yorkville. The driver was headed south on the state route when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound semi. He was flung from the bike and died from injuries, according to a report from WSPY.

The coroner determined Pahnke's cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries due to the crash. The coroner's office and Illinois State Police investigated the crash.
