Nominate Neighbor for Lawn Decor Award

Blow up Santas, colored lights, plastic nativity scenes – these are only some of the decorations Montgomery is hoping residents will have on their lawns this month.

The village is hosting a holiday decorations contest. Nominations will be accpeted through Dec. 15. Judging will take place Dec. 17.

To nominate, visit the website at www.ci.montgomery.il.us, or call the public works department at 630-896-9241.

Residents can nominate their own addresses. Then the committee will visit the addresses provided to the village.

Winners receive bragging rights and an award sign to be displayed through the holidays.
