Snapshot: Planet Fitness Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting for  July 31 at 1842 Douglas Road, .

The 21,650-square-foot fitness center in Settler's Landing opened in April, becoming the first new business in that shopping center off Douglas Road in years.

"We are very happy and know we picked the right community," said Chris Kouros, co-owner and general manager. "Everyone in Montgomery and the surrounding areas have been wonderful."

Planet Fitness is open 24 hours a day during the week. It opens at midnight on Mondays, and close at 9 p.m. on Fridays, with Saturday and Sunday hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
